2022 Calendar

This listing is for one 2022 Millefleurs Moon Calendar. Millefleurs is a French term which translates to “thousand flowers.” I have long been inspired by this distinct decorative style of many flowers and plants in backgrounds as seen on European tapestries during the Middle Ages. Additionally, there is a wheel in the center of fungi and plants for their respective seasons and full and new moons for each month of the year. An owl is seen at the center guarding a keyhole, for which the keys to it can be seen interlaced within vines of the outer wheel.

Originally created in pen and ink, gouache, and watercolor, and then printed on 11x14 cotton paper.
